About Emman Haider:
Emman Haider is a Product Manager at Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services at Microsoft. Emman leads the development of industry-leading generative AI experiences across Microsoft Products. Her expertise includes responsibly architecting AI solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Prior to joining Microsoft, Emman co-founded an indigenous housing technology startup to solve the housing and youth unemployment crisis in Atlantic Canada's Indigenous communities.
Emman is passionate about giving back to her community. She is the Director of Development at Tawasaw, a non-profit organization empowering Muslims through leadership, education, and volunteering. Emman also serves on the board of Muslim Women in Tech and is the Director of Growth and Partnerships. Furthermore, she enjoys being a Product and Tech mentor to engineering students, women, and Muslim youth.
Emman grew up in Toronto, Canada, and received her Bachelors's in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. She now resides in the Bay Area, in her free time she enjoys studying Arabic, and Islamic Sciences and traveling
